I’m pleased to share that we are now leading a retained search project for an Area Sales Manager / Technical Sales Manager on behalf of a long-established European technology business supplying high-reliability engineered components and sub assemblies into defence and aerospace platforms.
This is a high-autonomy, technical/business development role — ideally suited to commercially minded engineers or technical sales professionals who enjoy:
🔹 Selling complex, engineered technology rather than catalogue products
🔹 Engaging with engineering teams, programme managers & procurement
🔹 Working on long sales cycles and early design-stage influence
🔹 Building deep, trusted customer relationships rather than chasing price-driven deals
The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding business with major aerospace & defence OEMs and system integrators across the UK (primary) and Northern Europe (secondary), supported by strong technical expertise, product specialists and European leadership.
